Viking VW91 Snug Fit Firefighter Chainsaw Boot. The "Snug fit" design allows to taper the ankle area of the shaft to create a form fitting supportive boot that provides a tighter fit to prevent ankle roll over and foot fatigue. Features include: CSA Z195-09 / ASTM F2413-11 Class #1 Steel toe and Plate. CSA Z195-09 'Green Fir Tree' chainsaw protection. Chainsaw cut protection class 3 (28m/sec chainsaw speed). CSA Omega - Electric shock resistance 18kV. NFPA : 1971 - 2013 protective footwear for structural fire fighting. Extra comfort non-woven Kevlar® Nomex/Polyaramide lining with excellent flame retardant property. Snug Fit design and ergonomic insole, plus the optional felt insole to adjust fit. Flame retardant rubber upper. Reinforced backstay for heel tendon protection. Metatarsal & Shin Impact Protection through multiple layers of Kevlar, Ballistic Nylon and rubber. Shaft is also lined with Kevlar Nomex for protection. Instep and leg lined with multiple layer of ballistic nylon. Ankle padding protection & foam mid leg padding for additional support.
